Dyson, a company known for hair stylers and vacuum cleaners, launched on Tuesday (1) the CameraJet, an electric toothbrush with a built-in camera that allows viewing the internal brushing of teeth, in addition to featuring artificial intelligence. The initial price of the product is 479 euros, which is equivalent to almost 3 thousand reais at the current exchange rate.
At this initial stage, the CameraJet is available for purchase only in European countries and in the United States. During brushing, a sonic motor promotes 245 movements per second, with an anti-jamming mechanism that keeps the bristles moving to remove more bacterial plaque.
According to the product description, the anti-gravity reservoir helps ensure that the mouthwash is released consistently whenever the precision jet is activated, regardless of the position of the device, whether vertical, inclined, or horizontal. This is considered especially important when cleaning the back of the teeth, where the equipment is usually horizontal.
The company states that the 28 bristles of the brush were designed to wrap around each tooth individually, and the integrated camera allows the user to view in real time the region being brushed, helping to improve oral hygiene.
