The call-up of the Brazilian national team for the friendly matches against Australia and India will take place on September 9th, at 3 PM (Brasília time), at the CBF headquarters, in Rio de Janeiro. The event will be broadcast live on CBF TV and will mark the first call-up since Brazil's elimination in the round of 16 of the last World Cup, when they were defeated by Norway.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti will announce the 26 athletes who will make up the Brazilian squad. This call-up will kick off the national team's journey towards the 2030 World Cup, representing a new cycle for Brazilian football.
The team's commitments include two matches against Australia and one against India, during the so-called Super FIFA window. The first friendly will be on September 25th, at the Queensland Country Bank stadium, in Townsville, followed by another clash with the Australians on the 29th, this time at the Suncorp stadium, in Brisbane.
Still in 2026, there will be another friendly period in November, maintaining the Brazilian national team's preparation schedule for the upcoming international challenges.
