Lulinha x Master case: most voters say investigations greatly harm Lula and Flavio

oglobo2 September 2026 at 14:15

The Quaest poll released this Wednesday reveals that most voters believe the investigations into the Lulinha and Master cases significantly harm President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) and Senator Flavio Bolsonaro (PL). The survey was commissioned by O GLOBO and Globo.

According to the poll, 40% of respondents believe Lula is greatly harmed by the suspicions against his son Fábio Luís Lula da Silva, known as Lulinha, related to influence peddling investigations by the Federal Police. Lulinha is the target of three investigations authorized by the Supreme Court to investigate whether he favored businessmen interested in doing business with public agencies and whether he acted for his own benefit.

In Flavio Bolsonaro's case, 42% of voters believe he is greatly harmed by suspicions of his involvement in the Master case. In both cases, most respondents did not find the explanations presented by the politicians convincing.
