The Quaest poll released on Wednesday shows that violence is the biggest concern of Brazilian voters, cited by 31% of the population. This is the institute's first survey after the official start of the campaign on August 16. The economy comes in second with 16%, followed by health and corruption, both with 14%, social problems with 13% and education with 7%.
In the previous Quaest survey, violence also led the concerns, but with a slightly higher percentage, being cited by 33% of Brazilians. In the previous survey, the economy appeared with 15%, health with 14%, corruption with 14%, social problems with 12% and education with 7%.
The poll was commissioned by Globo and Editora Globo. The institute interviewed 2,004 people between August 30 and September 1. The margin of error is two percentage points, plus or minus, and the confidence level is 95%. The poll's registration number is BR-07065/2026.
