Watch GT 7 and Watch D3 lead new wave of Huawei wearables for health, sport and work

Huawei held a presentation in Munich where it revealed a vast ecosystem of new products. The event took place during the afternoon and marked the launch of multiple wearable and electronic devices from the brand.

The main highlights were the new smartwatches from the Watch GT 7 and Watch 6 series, leading the company's new wave of wearables. Joining them was the Watch D3, which features medical certification, reinforcing Huawei's focus on health.

In addition to the smartwatches, the Chinese brand also presented the 12-inch MatePad Pro tablet and the FreeBuds Neo earbuds, thus expanding its product offering for different consumer needs.

The new devices are positioned in the areas of health, sport and work, reflecting Huawei's strategy to cover various segments of the wearable and consumer electronics technology market.

A survey by NielsenIQ BookData reveals that 72% of e-book and audiobook readers in Brazil use their cell phone as their primary device, ahead of computers (23%), e-readers (19%), and tablets (16%). The study, funded by the Skeelo platform and conducted with 3,000 Brazilians over 10 years of age, also points out that almost half of readers access content through unofficial channels. Approximately 18 million Brazilians started reading more after adopting digital formats, with 43% of readers and 45% of listeners stating they are reading "much more than before." Among those interviewed, 78% seek digital content to acquire knowledge about new topics.
