According to data released by UTAD, the district of Porto has the most new students placed at the university, with a total of 474 students, followed by Vila Real with 355 and Braga with 260. These three districts together represent about 71% of the total students placed.
They are followed by Viseu with 115 students, Bragança with 79, Aveiro with 71 and Viana do Castelo with 68. There is also the presence of students from the Autonomous Regions of the Azores and Madeira, as well as from other parts of the national territory.
VTM was present on an enrollment day and spoke with several students, including Núria Arnelas, a young woman from Porto. The student revealed that UTAD was not her first choice, but that, so far, she is enjoying what she has seen at the university.
Núria Arnelas stated that the people were very welcoming and that they were informed about many aspects of the university, expressing that she is enjoying the institution very much.
