A man was arrested in Águeda on suspicion of committing sexual crimes against his stepdaughter, a 10-year-old child. The case was reported by Notícias de Águeda.

The suspect was brought before a judge for first interrogation, after which the most severe coercive measure was applied. Thus, the man was held in preventive detention.

The stepdaughter, aged 10, is the alleged victim of the sexual crimes allegedly committed by the stepfather in Águeda.

An 18-year-old young man, who called himself "God" and "King of the Gods," was arrested and charged with 81 crimes, including incitement to hatred, violence and child pornography. The young man used social media to coerce underage girls to self-harm, sending messages such as "You have to cut your thigh and write my name". The Public Ministry considers him responsible for aggravated coercion crimes, child pornography, incitement to hatred and violation of personal data, having requested the application of coercive measures.
