Back at Botafogo, Matheus Martins officially spoke out on Wednesday after failing the medical exams at Dynamo Moscow. The forward was surprised by the results and said he completely disagrees with the Russian club's decision, since he had been playing regularly in Brazil without any physical issues. He stated that he arrived in Russia a few days ago and completed several tests in full, without any complications.
The player reported that this season he took the field 38 times, with his last game less than 10 days ago, demonstrating that he was active and in game rhythm. In an official statement, he said he continues his career with dedication and always striving for his best version.
Matheus Martins also drew attention to the fact that Dynamo Moscow adopted the same stance with another player who arrived at the club alongside him, suggesting a pattern of behavior by the Russian club regarding medical evaluations.
The deal between Botafogo and Dynamo Moscow was closed weeks ago, and the player now returns to the Brazilian club after failing the medical exams of the Russian team.
