Miguel Martins, President of the Iberian Association of Inland Tourism (AITI), was a guest on the podcast "Territories with Identity", from Mais Beiras Informação, where he spoke about the role of tourism in valuing low-density territories.

During the interview, Miguel Martins defended the union of inland territories and stated that "the interior is a destination", highlighting the importance of cooperation between Portugal and Spain in the tourism sector.

The president of AITI also addressed the challenges facing the interior, particularly regarding population, referring to the difficulties in retaining people in low-density regions.
