Almost one in three internet users in the European Union paid, in 2025, for online subscriptions to films, series or sports broadcasts. This data represents a significant share of the European digital entertainment market. The information was collected through surveys on the consumption habits of European citizens. The article also analyses which countries in the European Union have the highest number of paid streaming service subscriptions.
