ONI creates program to help technology companies test and migrate applications to the cloud

ONI launched a new program designed to support technology companies in their transition to the cloud. The program was specifically created to help with the development, testing and migration of applications and services to cloud computing environments.

The program targets companies in the information and communication technologies sector, system integrators, technology consultants and software manufacturers. These organizations can benefit from specialized support to modernize their infrastructure and applications.

New deposits reach historic high and interest rates rise again in July

Mozambique: Daniel Chapo says domestic debt cannot block financing to businesses

The Mozambican President, Daniel Chapo, defended that the growing domestic public debt, which reached 1.12 billion meticais in the first half of 2026, cannot compromise financing to businesses and the productive sector, warning that excessive reliance on the domestic market can pressure interest rates and reduce available liquidity for the economy. When swearing in the new governor of the Bank of Mozambique, Felisberto Dinis Navalha, Chapo challenged authorities to improve public liquidity management and better coordinate fiscal, monetary and financial policies. The Head of State emphasized that the structural solution to foreign exchange scarcity lies in producing more, exporting more and diversifying the economy, rather than depending solely on exchange rate policy.
