Around 400 seniors are gathered this week in Ponte da Barca for the 10th edition of 'Olympics4All' – Intergenerational Olympics. The event runs from Tuesday to Friday and celebrates a decade promoting active aging, healthy living and socializing among participants.
The participants represent the municipalities of Alto Minho and also include the participation of APPACDM. The Cerveira-Tomiño delegation comprises 40 members who, over the four days of the event, participate in a diversified program.
Olympics4All is an event that aims to promote physical activity and socialization among elderly people, creating a space for intergenerational socializing. This edition marks the tenth anniversary of this initiative that has been growing over the years.
The event is taking place in Ponte da Barca, a town in the district of Viana do Castelo, bringing together seniors from different municipalities of Alto Minho in a celebration of active and healthy aging.
