From 'can we hold it?' to 'do I already have to be out?': messages detail how Vorcaro turned to Moraes to dodge investigation

A Federal Police report points out that Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Banco Master, turned to the Supreme Court (STF) Justice Alexandre de Moraes during the most critical period of the financial institution's crisis. The banker's goal was to escape the encirclement of authorities that were investigating his activities. The messages were extracted from Vorcaro's phone and cover a period of 13 days of conversations.

During these conversations, Vorcaro asked for the magistrate's intervention to prevent the bank's liquidation and the advancement of investigations. In the messages, the banker makes appeals to "sensitize" authorities and asks about how he should proceed to "disarm" and "reverse" the situation. The dialogues reveal a proximity between Vorcaro and Moraes.

According to the investigations, Vorcaro wrote the texts in a phone notepad, took a screenshot and then sent it to Moraes through a single-view print, a method that prevents permanent storage of the message in the application.

The analyzed messages were extracted from the banker's phone and are part of a report produced by the PF. On November 17, 2025, hours before his arrest, Vorcaro sent a message to Moraes asking if there was any update on the case.
