A collision between two commercial ships occurred in the Istanbul region, in Turkey. The accident was confirmed by the Turkish Government, which has not yet specified what types of vessels were involved in the collision. So far, ten crew members have been reported missing as a result of the incident. Authorities have not yet released information about possible survivors or fatalities beyond the ten missing. Coast guard vessels and helicopters were sent to the scene of the accident, which are conducting search and rescue operations in the area.
