Timorese government to strengthen policing near electricity infrastructure

The Government of Timor-Leste decided today to strengthen policing near public electricity infrastructures. The decision was made at a Council of Ministers meeting and comes following several acts of vandalism that have affected these essential infrastructures. The Timorese executive thus intends to protect facilities that are fundamental for the functioning of public services in the country.
