Porto Santo blocks new hotel

The City Council unanimously approved the intention to reject Sucessland's project for the construction of a new hotel on the island of Porto Santo. The intention was favorably voted on by all members of the municipal executive.

The land in question has an area of 16,000 square meters. The developer had already obtained approval for a five-star hotel with 100 units, but that work never came to fruition.

The decision made by the Council is not yet final, which means the process may still undergo changes. The matter is featured in today's print edition of DIÁRIO.
