The 25th Portuguese Conference on Artificial Intelligence (EPIA 2026) kicked off at the University of Madeira, running until Friday. The event takes place at the Rectory Building, housed in the historic Jesuit College, and marks three days of debate on the future of Artificial Intelligence.

The conference brings together researchers, engineers, students, and professionals from various fields, creating a space for discussion about the latest advances and challenges associated with AI. The event is organized by the University of Madeira, with the support of the Portuguese Association for Artificial Intelligence (APPIA).
