A cold front is advancing across Brazil, causing winds of up to 70 km/h in the South Region and significant rainfall in Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais. The meteorological system gradually reduces cloudiness and favors temperature drops in both the South and Southeast of the country.
In the Southeast region, spotty rainfall with significant volumes is expected, especially in Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais. In some areas, precipitation may occur as rain showers, thunderstorms, wind gusts, and hail.
In São Paulo's capital, temperatures are expected to drop in the morning, with a forecast of around 12°C. Additionally, there is a possibility of frost in higher areas of the South Region due to the cold air mass accompanying the cold front.
The system may also cause rainfall and thunderstorms in eastern Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, and extreme southern Bahia, as well as isolated rainfall in the Central-West region.
