Venezuela's Parliament approved this Tuesday the partial reform of the Organic Law of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), which will allow the removal of the judicial instance that supported the government of Nicolás Maduro. The deputies who until January 3 praised Maduro, currently imprisoned in the United States, were the same ones who voted in favor of this reform.
The legislators acted in accordance with the arrangement established with a sector of the opposition at the dialogue table overseen by Washington. Both the ruling party and some of its opponents also approved the "Binational Energy Agreement between the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the United States".
The energy agreement was approved during an extraordinary session, which was preceded by controversies over the scope of the agreement between the two countries.
