Sporting closed the transfer of Pote to Fiorentina for a total value of 25 million euros. The Italians paid a loan fee of 2.5 million euros to the lions, with an obligation for a definitive purchase valued at 22.5 million euros.

In this way, the Portuguese club immediately receives 2.5 million euros for the temporary transfer of the player, plus the additional 22.5 million euros when the transfer becomes permanent.

During the same transfer window, Sporting also saw another player leave, Bragança, who moved to Torino. This Italian reinforcement comes as a result of Sporting's movements in the transfer market.

Pote, who was one of the key players in the squad coached by Ruben Amorim, thus leaves the Alvalade club to embark on a new adventure in the Italian Serie A, at Fiorentina.
