The Republican National Guard carried out several operations across the national territory between August 21 and 27, with the aim of preventing and combating crime and road accidents, as well as enforcing matters of a regulatory nature.
During these operations, 610 individuals were arrested on the spot. Among the arrests, 253 drivers were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, 148 for driving without a legal license, 53 for drug trafficking, 20 for illegal possession of weapons and prohibited weapons, 10 for domestic violence, and 8 for theft and robbery.
The seizures included a large quantity of drugs, namely 13,437.22 doses of hashish, 11,471.8 doses of MDMA, 485.45 doses of cocaine, 164 doses of heroin, 98.396 doses of marijuana, 33 LSD tabs, and 29 MDMA tablets.
Also seized were 406 counterfeit articles, 402 ammunitions of various calibers, 44 firearms, 36 vehicles, and other materials not specified in the article. The operational data presented is of a provisional nature.
