Alvito Town Hall supports students from the municipality

Correio Alentejo2 September 2026 at 01:00

The Alvito City Council will make activity books available to students in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd cycles enrolled at the School Grouping of Alvito, as well as to secondary school students who are residents in the municipality. The total investment of this measure is 18 thousand euros.

The council states that this initiative represents much more than the simple acquisition of school materials, positioning Education and support for families among its main political priorities.

According to the council, the objective is to ensure that all children and young people in the municipality have the same learning opportunities, regardless of the economic situation of their families. The council justifies that no child should be left behind and that investing in Education is investing in the development and future of the territory.

This measure is part of a broader set of support that the Alvito City Council has been making available in the area of Education, in a logic of proximity policy aimed at supporting those who live, study and build their future in the municipality.
