Botafogo resumed negotiations with Everton Cebolinha. After a first failed attempt due to an advanced negotiation between the player and Krasnodar-RUS, the black-and-white directors returned to the negotiating table and are already discussing the terms of the operation with the forward's staff.
To make the signing viable, Botafogo consulted Flamengo and asked for authorization to make an offer to the player. The red-and-black club gave the necessary approval for talks to resume.
Previously, Flamengo had already authorized Cebolinha to find a club willing to simply pay his salary, without transfer costs. The forward's salary is considered high by current Brazilian standards.
If an agreement is reached with the player, Botafogo would finalize the signing.
