The young 20-year-old attacking midfielder Echeverri stated he is "very happy" to reinforce Benfica, after completing the loan transfer from Manchester City. The player has already arrived in Lisbon to join the red and white team.

Before completing the move, Echeverri revealed he spoke with Marco Silva, Rúben Dias and Bernardo Silva, all of them players with ties to Manchester City, to gather information about Benfica and the city of Lisbon.

The 20-year-old Argentine arrives at Benfica on loan, representing another signing by the Portuguese club from the English side Manchester City.

Echeverri expressed his satisfaction with the transfer, showing enthusiasm for wearing the Benfica jersey next season.
