Starting this Tuesday (9/1), work visa applications at Brazilian consulates will be processed entirely digitally. The measure eliminates the need for in-person attendance at the consulate for temporary visa issuance.
The change initially affects citizens of countries that are exempt from tourist visas. This means that people from these countries can now apply for work visas without having to physically go to the consulate.
The digitization process aims to simplify and modernize Brazilian consular services, facilitating foreign workers' access to the country. The gradual implementation allows for adjustments to the system before expansion to other nationalities.
