How to plan for retirement above the INSS cap?

In the CBN Dinheiro program, specialist Marcelo d'Agosto answered a question about retirement. Listener Juliano wanted to know if investing in Treasury Income+ 2040 was a good strategy to complement the INSS and obtain income above the cap at retirement in 15 years. The specialist explained that the advantage of this security is allowing estimation of the future value of monthly installments for 20 years, with current returns of inflation plus 7% per year, which can be attractive in a high interest rate scenario. However, he warned that if interest rates fall in the coming years, it may be necessary to reassess the strategy.
