Caixa Geral de Depósitos officially approved the move of its headquarters from the historic building on João XXI Avenue to the new facilities on Dom João II Avenue, in Parque das Nações. This move marks the definitive departure from the space that the public bank had occupied since the 1990s. Parque das Nações, a modernized area of Lisbon, thus becomes home to the headquarters of the Portuguese public bank.
