The Bulgarian goalkeeper David Ivanov, formed at Sporting, left Torreense to play in Luxembourg football. The transfer comes after a complete season that the player spent in the Portuguese II Liga serving the Torres Vedras emblem.
Ivanov, of Bulgarian nationality, began his formative career at Sporting, one of the main Portuguese clubs, before transferring to Torreense, where he had the opportunity to play in the Portuguese football second division for one season.
The move to the Luxembourg championship represents a new stage in the career of the Bulgarian goalkeeper, who now seeks affirmation in a competitive context different from the Portuguese one. Torreense thus loses one of its goalkeepers to abroad.
