José Carlos Pinto and Omar Elkhatib won gold medals in athletics this Tuesday at the Mediterranean Games in Taranto, giving the Portuguese delegation two more international titles.
Inês Oliveira completed the day for Portugal by securing the bronze medal in the rowing competition, contributing to the positive balance of the Portuguese delegation.
With these results, Portugal reached 29 medals in total at these Mediterranean Games, consolidating a significant participation in the multi-sport competition.
The Mediterranean Games are taking place in Taranto, the Italian city hosting this edition of the event that brings together athletes from countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea.
