The ministers Alexandre de Moraes and André Mendonça, both from the Supreme Federal Court, had a tense meeting on Monday afternoon in Mendonça's office. According to interlocutors, the two ministers had a harsh conversation about the developments in the investigations involving Banco Master and banker Daniel Vorcaro.
The meeting took place hours before Mendonça, who is the rapporteur of the investigations, forwarded to the Attorney General's Office a Federal Police report with messages from Vorcaro that contained references to authorities.
Before sending the report to the PGR, Mendonça decided to open a five-day deadline for the Attorney General of Brazil, Paulo Gonet, to respond to the material produced by the PF. The report gathers information extracted from Vorcaro's phone within the scope of the investigations.
