The ministers Alexandre de Moraes and André Mendonça, both from the Supreme Federal Court (STF), had a tense meeting on Monday afternoon. The encounter took place in Mendonça's office and preceded a significant event related to the investigations into Banco Master.
Hours after the meeting between the two ministers, Alexandre de Moraes, who is the rapporteur of the investigations into Banco Master, forwarded to the Attorney General's Office (PGR) a report prepared by the Federal Police.
The report contained messages from banker Daniel Vorcaro, founder and president of Banco Master. In the messages, there were references to authorities, which made the content sensitive and potentially relevant to the ongoing investigations.
