The CDU carried out, this Tuesday afternoon, a political initiative in Vale Paraíso, in the parish of Camacha, to address the environmental and public health problem near the Vale Paraíso Housing Complex. During the initiative, the regional coordinator of the CDU, Edgar Silva, harshly criticized the actions of the governing authorities, accusing them of "serious disrespect for the local populations."
According to the CDU, an industrial laundry activity, designated "Dorilimpa," was legalized near the dwellings of the Vale Paraíso Housing Complex. This legalization has created environmental and public health problems for the residents of the area.
Edgar Silva considered that the governing authorities showed disrespect for the local populations by allowing the installation of this industrial activity so close to the dwellings, raising questions about the negative impact on the quality of life of the residents of Vale Paraíso.
