Portuguese designer João Pombeiro is responsible for the new posthumous music video of Amy Winehouse, for an alternative version of "Tears Dry On Their Own". The video is part of the commemorative edition of the 20th anniversary of the album "Back to Black", which will be released on October 23.
Pombeiro, who has already worked with U2, recreated Amy Winehouse's world, taking her back to cities like London, New York, Miami and Los Angeles. The music video works as a kind of visual biography of the record, showing the places and the people and references that were at the genesis of the album.
The graphic artist spoke with BLITZ about various moments in the music video and confessed that he found more difficulties than he could have expected during the creation process. Despite this, Amy Winehouse's father considered the final result a masterpiece.
