Mota-Engil Ambiente e Energia secures 25 ME financing for five biomethane units

Mota-Engil Ambiente e Energia secured a 25 million euro financing for the development of five biomethane production units. The project is financed by Banco Crédito Agrícola.

The five facilities will have a combined capacity to produce up to 170 GWh of biomethane per year. The raw material used will be the recovery of approximately 600 thousand annual tonnes of biodegradable municipal waste.
