The Federal Police managed to recover messages exchanged between banker Daniel Vorcaro, former controller of Banco Master, and Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Supreme Federal Court. The recovery was made possible thanks to forensic software used for data extraction and analysis from cell phones seized in police operations.

According to experts and specialists interviewed by GLOBO, these tools allow access to information from blocked, turned-off devices or even deleted files from the devices. The process also makes it possible to track "view once" messages, such as those sent by Vorcaro to Moraes.

In the conversation revealed by newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo, the banker discussed the progress of investigations related to his role at the head of Banco Master. According to the PF, Vorcaro used techniques to try to prevent the message exchange from being tracked.
