FC Porto is preparing for the match against Moreirense with the two latest signings already integrated into training. Santiago Giménez and Souza trained for the first time with the team on Tuesday morning, after being officially announced as new players of the club.
Santiago Giménez, a 23-year-old Mexican forward, arrived at FC Porto from Feyenoord, where he stood out as one of the top scorers in the Dutch League. The player signed a long-term contract with the dragons.
Souza, on the other hand, is a Brazilian defensive midfielder who strengthens the midfield sector of the team coached by Sérgio Conceição. His signing comes at a time when FC Porto is looking for reinforcements for the midfield.
The two players are expected to be options on the bench for the team's next commitment, which faces Moreirense in the Portuguese League. Their quick integration into training indicates they could be an option for this match.
