Fachin tried to cool down the crisis, but Mendonça didn't agree

The president of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), Edson Fachin, tried to reduce the tension before an important decision regarding the Master case. The rapporteur of the investigations in this case is Minister André Mendonça.

André Mendonça decided to forward to the Attorney General's Office (PGR) the Federal Police report that contained messages exchanged between banker Daniel Vorcaro and Minister Alexandre de Moraes.

Fachin tried to cool down the crisis that formed around this situation, but Mendonça did not accept Fachin's proposal to try to calm tempers. The minister chose to proceed with forwarding the report to the PGR.
