Sony Music released "Timeless", a new posthumous album by Prince containing ten unreleased and rare recordings by the musician. The recordings were made across nearly four decades, between 1977 and 2016.

The album hits the market ten years after Prince's death, which occurred in 2016 at the age of 57. The American singer, songwriter, and music producer left a vast archive of recorded material that continues to be explored and released posthumously.

The "Timeless" edition represents another chapter in the series of posthumous releases that have kept Prince's musical legacy alive. This is not the first time unreleased recordings by the artist have been made available to the public since his passing.
