A Bank of America vice president named Erin Piacenti was stabbed to death this Monday in Times Square, in New York. Erin, who held the position of vice president of business selection and conflicts at the bank, died at the hospital from the injuries caused by the attack, according to the New York Police Department (NYPD).
The perpetrator was identified as Pamela Cisneros, 49 years old. Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch reported that Pamela first approached a 68-year-old tourist near the intersection of West 41st Street and Seventh Avenue, carrying two knives. She stabbed the man in the abdomen while he was waiting, alongside his wife, to cross the street. The victim was hospitalized in stable condition.
Then, Pamela continued north on Seventh Avenue and stabbed Erin Piacenti. The attack left another person injured in addition to the two previous victims. The incident ended with the suspect's death, which was also recorded during the occurrence.
