Brazilian defender Diego Carlos was officially announced as Parma's new signing, an Italian Serie A club. The 31-year-old player arrives on loan from Fenerbahçe, his previous club, and succeeds Circati at the Italian club, a player who came through Benfica's youth academy.

Diego Carlos had previously played in Portugal during his career, having represented FC Porto, where he stood out as a central defender and won domestic titles. His European experience also includes stints at clubs such as Sevilla, Newcastle, and Aston Villa.

The signing by Parma represents another change in the Brazilian's career, as he seeks to relaunch his sporting trajectory after a season in Turkish football. The loan to Parma allows the player to have more playing time.

With this transfer, Parma strengthens its defensive sector for the new season, opting for a player with international experience and knowledge of Portuguese and European football.
