Over 150 radiology professionals, national and international, will gather in Viana do Castelo between September 17 and 19 for a post-graduate training meeting. The information was reported by the Portuguese Society of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine (SPRMN), responsible for organizing the event.
The training includes sessions dedicated to gastrointestinal imaging, female genitourinary imaging, and musculoskeletal imaging, particularly in the context of bone tumors, featuring the participation of national and international specialists.
The program is primarily aimed at radiology residents and specialists, providing opportunities for scientific updates, discussion of complex cases, and interaction with specialists from different contexts.
According to José Traila Campos, director of the radiology department at Hospital de Santa Luzia, the event represents an opportunity to bring excellence in medical training closer to the region and to showcase Viana do Castelo as a city capable of hosting high-quality scientific meetings.
