The deadline for the removal of shared e-scooters from the streets of Braga ends today, a measure considered pioneering by the Mayor, João Rodrigues. This decision marks the end of the circulation of shared mobility vehicles in the city, something the municipality considers unique nationwide.
In parallel, enforcement of abusive parking also begins today by the Braga Utilities Company (EUB) in areas where parking fees are already charged. This enforcement covers areas delimited for parking fee payment.
The two measures, although distinct in their objectives, share a common philosophy according to the municipality: both aim to organize public space and improve mobility conditions in the city. Braga positions itself as a pioneering municipality in the regulation of these matters.
