The Póvoa de Varzim City Council executive decided unanimously, at the meeting of August 31, to proceed with the dissolution and internalization process of the municipal company Varzim Lazer. The decision was supported by the votes of PSD, Aliança Poveira, and Chega.

The process will be formally voted on at the meeting of September 15, when the internalization plan should be approved and the liquidation committee responsible for accompanying all procedures until the conclusion of the operation, scheduled for the end of this year, will be formed.

The committee will be composed of one representative from each political force with a seat on the municipal executive and by three municipal technicians from the legal, financial, and sports areas.

The mayor of Póvoa de Varzim, Andrea Silva, explained that the group will have the mission to accompany a complex process, which will involve administrative, financial, and organizational changes. According to Andrea Silva, there will have to be a change in the organic structure, a review of rates, and a series of bureaucratic procedures, something she considered apparently simple but very complex in practice.

Jair Renan Asks for Votes for Esperidião Amin and Carlos Bolsonaro, but Leaves Michelle's Ally in SC Out of the Campaign Flyer

The campaign material attributed to Jair Renan Bolsonaro (PL-SC) asks for votes for Carlos Bolsonaro and Esperidião Amin for Senate, but excludes federal deputy Caroline de Toni, Michelle Bolsonaro's ally on the same ticket. The flyer also supports Jair Renan for federal deputy, Flavinho for president, Jorginho Mello for governor, and Camilo Martins for state deputy. Toni's exclusion occurs amid tensions in the Bolsonaro coalition in Santa Catarina, as Amin was passed over by Jorginho earlier this year to accommodate the ex-president's son.
