Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Brazilian Supreme Court is identified as responsible for editing his wife's law firm contract with Banco Master, owned by Daniel Vorcaro, in the amount of R$131 million. The information was published by the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo, which had access to message exchanges between Viviane Barci de Moraes and Daniel Vorcaro.
According to the newspaper, metadata extracted from Vorcaro's phone indicates that the minister himself edited the document. The contract went from the lawyer's phone to the banker in January 2024, and four days later, the banker returned the document with alterations. The Federal Police discovered, through metadata, that a profile attributed to Moraes made alterations to the final version of the document.
Yesterday, Minister André Mendonça, also of the Brazilian Supreme Court, asked the Attorney General's Office for additional information about a message attributed to former banker Daniel Vorcaro. In the message, he indicated needing "protection" from "Andrei" and "Paulo."
