SCHOOLS WITH 2,650 SCHEDULES STILL TO BE FILLED DAYS BEFORE THE START OF THE SCHOOL YEAR - FENPROF

O Atual - Informação de Verdade1 September 2026 at 15:58

The National Federation of Teachers (Fenprof) reported that there are still 2,650 school-offered schedules to be filled, corresponding to more than 50,000 teaching hours. The situation was made public just days before the start of the school year.

Fenprof warned about this situation as a persistent problem, suggesting that the lack of teachers continues to be a reality in the Portuguese education system.

The union expressed concern about the impact this situation could have on the start of the school year, since thousands of teaching hours will remain without a designated teacher in a short period of time.

Schools thus face the challenge of covering these hours before the start of classes, which may compromise the normal functioning of the school year.

Jair Renan Asks for Votes for Esperidião Amin and Carlos Bolsonaro, but Leaves Michelle's Ally in SC Out of the Campaign Flyer

The campaign material attributed to Jair Renan Bolsonaro (PL-SC) asks for votes for Carlos Bolsonaro and Esperidião Amin for Senate, but excludes federal deputy Caroline de Toni, Michelle Bolsonaro's ally on the same ticket. The flyer also supports Jair Renan for federal deputy, Flavinho for president, Jorginho Mello for governor, and Camilo Martins for state deputy. Toni's exclusion occurs amid tensions in the Bolsonaro coalition in Santa Catarina, as Amin was passed over by Jorginho earlier this year to accommodate the ex-president's son.
