Benfica and Manchester City reached an agreement for the transfer of Claudio Echeverri. The 20-year-old Argentine is very close to leaving the English club to join Benfica.
The deal has not yet been officially confirmed by either party. The transfer now depends on defining the payment formula to be completed.
Echeverri, who plays as an attacking midfielder, was signed by Manchester City in January 2024 from River Plate, but failed to establish himself in Pep Guardiola's team.
