The Portuguese rower Inês Oliveira won the bronze medal in the women's lightweight single sculls event at the Mediterranean Games in Taranto. This achievement represented the first medal for national rowing at this edition of the Games.
With this bronze, Portugal reached the 27th medal in the competition, continuing to increase its record for podiums in a single edition of the Mediterranean Games.
The event took place in Taranto, the host city of the Games, where Inês Oliveira finished in third place in the women's lightweight single sculls category.
