The Minister of Education, Fernando Alexandre, stated he has a "totally tranquil conscience" regarding the inquiry opened by the Public Prosecutor's Office. This inquiry resulted from a complaint filed by Fenprof, the National Federation of Teachers.
Fernando Alexandre guaranteed that "all conditions" are met for the school year to start normally. This declaration comes as a response to the concerns raised by Fenprof's complaint that led to the legal proceedings.
Fenprof, the union representing teachers, filed a complaint that led the Public Prosecutor's Office to open an inquiry to investigate the situation. The minister, however, expressed confidence in the legality of his actions.
