A 49-year-old woman stabbed two people in the tourist area of Times Square, in New York, this Monday. The incident occurred in one of the most crowded areas of the city, frequented by tourists and residents.
After the attack, the woman was immobilized by police at gunpoint. The authorities intervened to contain the aggressor at the scene of the incident.
One of the stabbing victims died from the injuries sustained. The second victim was also hit by the woman during the attack.
