MANGUALDE: Municipality allocates 40 thousand euros for acquisition of ambulance for Volunteer Firefighters

The Municipality of Mangualde allocated a financial support of 40 thousand euros to the Humanitarian Association of Volunteer Firefighters of Mangualde. This amount is intended to co-finance the acquisition of an emergency ambulance for the corporation.

The program-contract that formalizes the attribution of this support was signed on Tuesday, September 1st, in the Noble Hall of the Town Hall of Mangualde. The ceremony had the presence of representatives of the municipality and the humanitarian association.

With this funding, the municipal council intends to reinforce the emergency and rescue means available in the municipality of Mangualde. The ambulance will strengthen the response capacity of the volunteer firefighters in emergency situations in the region.
