Back to school brings a year of free Gemini for university students in Portugal

The back-to-school season brings a new offer from Google for university students, including those in Portugal. The company is making free Gemini artificial intelligence plans available for one year for these students.

This initiative comes during the start of the school year period and aims to allow students to make the most of Gemini's capabilities. The platform will be presented as a study "companion."

University students in Portugal will thus be able to access Gemini for free for one year, benefiting from Google's AI tools to support their academic journey. This offer is part of the company's strategy to attract and retain younger users.

This tool joins the integration already available on Google Maps, which covers the 2,517 stops on the network and more than 5,000 trips on weekdays, representing an effort by the transport company to adapt communication channels to passengers' digital habits.
